Rare September storms to hit Northwest

It'll be windy and rainy Saturday afternoon as one cold front passes over Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington.  On Sunday, an even stronger storm will move in with remnants of typhoon Pabuk.

It will bring stronger winds and up to two inches of rain in the Portland/Vancouver area.

The National Weather Service has a Storm Watch from Lincoln City north.  There's a High Wind warning for the coast and Coast Range, and a Windy Advisory for the Willamette Valley.

The ground is saturated from significant rain already in September and the combination of more rain and wind could cause trees to fall resulting in power outages.
