Feel like dressing up and strutting your stuff on the red carpet, but you're not an actor? That's ok because you can do that Sunday at the Hollywood Theatre in Northeast Portland. The historic theatre hosts an Oscars Viewing Party every year. This one will have themed cocktails to coordinate with the nominees, a best dressed contest, and a ballot to see who can guess the most winners correctly. Executive Director Doug White expects it to be a full house, not only because the event is a lot of fun but also free. Doors open at 3:30 and the red carpet events start at 4:00. The Oscars themselves are at 5:00. If you want to brush up on your nominees before the party, the theatre is now showing all the Oscar nominated short films.
